You can help MAC Van by providing a ride!  The purpose of this program is to transport elderly and disabled individuals in Fountain and Warren Counties to medical appointments, social service agencies, shopping, errands, pharmacies, and more.  Transportation is provided Monday through Friday to Crawfordsville, Lafayette, Danville, Illinois, and other surrounding areas.

We are a not-for-profit organization that relies on Medicaid payments, support from Area IV Agency on Aging, United Way of Danville Area, local support, and suggested donation fees. We recently received a 2019 van from a grant rewarded by INDOT, and we are ecstatic the United Way of Danville Area donated the 20% match for this vehicle.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, MAC Van was shut down from March 16 through July 6, 2020. As a result, we have endured additional expenses. In our effort to protect our clients and drivers, you and your contributions are more important now than ever to ensure we’re able to continue serving for many years to come.

We hope you will help us “Provide-A-Ride.”

Donations can be made on our website at www.capwi.org (please select MAC Van). Donations may also be mailed to: Community Action Program, Inc. of Western Indiana, 418 Washington Street, PO Box 188, Covington, IN 47932. All donations are tax deductible. Receipts will be provided upon request.

A sincere “THANK YOU” for helping MAC Van’s senior and handicapped transportation service. We greatly appreciate your support.

Sincerely,

Tammy Gayler-Nickle, MAC Van Coordinator
