Rental Information

Rental Information

Our apartments/homes are not rental assisted or subsidized as some may think. However, our rents, as a rule are slightly lower than similar units in the area they are located. Since we receive money from different grants/funding sources, our properties have income guidelines, which we must go by in qualifying a person or family as a potential renter.

The guidelines are figured by establishing a middle point of the area income levels. We then use a percentage of the area medium income (AMI) for the different counties our properties are located in.

  • All of our units are now pet friendly! A separate pet application is required. Service and Emotional Support Animals are also welcome. Please contact the Property Manager for more information.
  • Smoking is prohibited in all units.
  • Some of our units also require that potential tenants qualify as an elderly or handicapped/disabled family.
  • Each rental property listing will have information to assist you.

Contact Angela Golia at agolia@capwi.org if you have questions. You can also call our central office at (765) 793-4881, Monday thru Friday from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm.
