Financial Planning and Development
We have five programs that can assist businesses and/or individuals. Our Small Business Loans can assist existing businesses develop further. Individuals can benefit from our Individual Development Accounts, Homeownership Education and Planning, Foreclosure Prevention program, or Hardest Hit Fund. Small Business Loans
Are available to expand an existing business or start a business. Our program can assist in providing needed capital. The business and the owner must reside in one of our six counties (Benton, Fountain, Montgomery, Parke, Vermillion, or Warren).
Individual Development Account
Asset development program for low-income individuals.
Foreclosure Prevention Network
This program is designed to counsel families facing mortgage default/foreclosure. We work with families to determine course of action they can take to keep the home or try to sell it.
Homeownership Education and Counseling Program
This program takes families through the important steps in making their way to homeownership and how to avoid putting their home on the line when things get tough.
Hardest Hit Fund Program
This is a new program which addresses families who are struggling to keep their mortgage current and are also receiving unemployment benefits. The unemployment bridge will offer homeowners with the greatest need for assistance to prevent foreclosure and position the family for long-term sustainability.
