The Head Start Division will have the following positions available as of January 3, 2012:
CAP Kids Teacher – Full-time/full year position. Lead teacher of a preschool classroom with 19-21 children in Crawfordsville. Responsible for lesson planning, ongoing child assessment, supervision of two aides, general classroom oversight and management. Requires an Associate or higher degree in Early Childhood Education. EOE
CAP Kids Teacher Aide – Full time/full year position. Assistant teacher of a preschool classroom with 19-21 children in Crawfordsville. Responsible for assisting in lesson planning, assisting in child observations, general classroom management. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be willing to get Child Development Associate credential within one year. EOE
CAP Kids Teacher Aide – Full time/full year position. Assistant teacher of a toddler classroom with 8 children (18-36 months) in Crawfordsville. Responsible for assisting in lesson planning, assisting in child observations, general classroom management. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be willing to get Child Development Associate credential within one year. EOE
Lead Teacher – Full-time/academic year position. Lead teacher of a double session preschool classroom, each session having 17 children in Rockville. Responsible for lesson planning, ongoing child assessment, supervision of aide, general classroom oversight and management. Requires an Associate or higher degree in Early Childhood Education. EOE
Early Head Start Home Visitor – Full time/full year position. Fountain County Home Visitor will be working with children from birth to age 3 in a home setting. Requires background and/or experience in Early Childhood Education or Social Services. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Benefits included. EOE
